Karen is a classic 60ft Traditional Stern Narrowboat, built in 1980 by Malcolm Braine. Designed for a comfortable two-berth lifestyle, it features a charming and practical layout that includes a stern entry, boatman’s cabin, engine room, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and a cosy lounge. The boat opens to a spacious bow area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenic waterways.

This well-maintained narrowboat is powered by a reliable 2009 John Deere JD03 Beta Marina engine, last serviced in 2024. Karen comes with a boat safety certification valid until 2028, and her hull was blacked with 2-pac epoxy in 2022, under warranty until 2026. The boat’s last survey was also conducted in 2022, ensuring peace of mind for her next owner. Equipped with two large 405W solar panels installed in 2022, she offers ample off-grid power, making Karen an eco-friendly option for extended cruising.
