Our 200-berth marina is designed to provide a safe, secure and comfortable mooring experience. Nestled in scenic countryside, Great Haywood Marina offers well-maintained jetties suitable for narrowboats ranging from 40ft to 70ft.
Each berth includes a 16-amp electricity supply and access to shared water points, while well-lit jetties with bollard lighting ensure ease of access at all times. With practical facilities and a peaceful setting, you can enjoy stress-free leisure mooring all year round.

Cruising Routes
From the marina, you can enjoy a fantastic choice of cruising routes, from picturesque countryside and historic towns to some of Britain’s most popular canal rings. Popular routes include the Black Country Ring, Four Counties Ring, Llangollen Canal, Caldon Canal and Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal.
For longer adventures, cruise towards Coventry and join the Oxford Canal, which eventually leads towards London. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing weekend cruise or a longer journey through the waterways, there are plenty of routes to discover from Great Haywood.

The local village of Great Haywood (one-minute drive or five-minute walk) is home to a SPAR (including post office & ATM), pub, pharmacy, doctor’s surgery and a church. The village is serviced by the Chaserider bus, numbers 826 or 828.Â
Further afield in Stafford and Rugeley, both less than 15 minutes drive from the marina, you will find your favourite larger supermarket chains and high street brands - perfect if you fancy a spot of shopping or need to pick something up that you can’t otherwise get from the village stores.Â
One of our moorers favourite spots for shopping is Canalside Farm, a farm shop that stocks locally sourced produce and has its own café. Located right at the entrance to Great Haywood Marina, the family run business has been keeping locals fed and watered for more than 30 years.
