The Gamekeeperâs Inn offers 11 individually designed bedrooms, combining traditional character with contemporary comforts for a welcoming stay in the Yorkshire Dales. Each room has its own character, with names inspired by some of the Dalesâ most iconic fells, including Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent.
Set within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Gamekeeperâs Inn is a comfortable base for exploring the countryside, or simply a place to relax and enjoy a few days away. Choose from bed and breakfast, or dinner, bed and breakfast, with options to suit the way you want to enjoy your stay.
During your stay, you'll have complimentary access to Long Ashes Leisure Club, including the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and gym. For a little extra indulgence, hotel guests receive 10% off treatments at Long Ashes Pure Spa.

Lovely Seat - Honeymoon Suite
Our most luxurious suite, Lovely Seat is designed for a special stay. With a super king-size bed, elegant furnishings and a spacious en-suite featuring a freestanding bath and large walk-in shower, it offers a comfortable and romantic retreat.
Patio doors open onto your own private balcony, complete with seating and views across the surrounding countryside. Robes and slippers are provided for an added touch of comfort.
High Seat - King Size Room
High Seat is a spacious first-floor room featuring a luxurious crushed velvet sleigh bed and a comfortable en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower over.
Patio doors open onto a private balcony with seating, offering a peaceful spot to enjoy the surrounding countryside. Robes and slippers are provided for your comfort.

Our four Deluxe Rooms are individually designed and furnished, offering a comfortable and peaceful stay. Each room features a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, flat-screen TV, and tea and coffee-making facilities, with patio doors opening onto a private outdoor seating area.
Bathroom arrangements vary between rooms, with two featuring large walk-in showers, one with a bath and shower over, and Yockenthwaite offering an accessible walk-in wet room. If you have a preference, our reception team will be happy to help you choose the room that's right for you.
All Deluxe Room rates include breakfast and complimentary access to Long Ashes Leisure Club from check-in until check-out.

Our five Standard Rooms offer a comfortable and convenient place to stay. Fresh, modern and cosy, each room is designed to provide a relaxing space and a good nightâs sleep after a day exploring the Yorkshire Dales.
All rooms are en-suite and feature a bath with shower over. There are two double rooms, one twin room and two family rooms, each with a double bed and a separate lounge area with a sofa bed, providing extra space for families to relax.

Yockenthwaite - King Size Room, Accessible
Yockenthwaite is our accessible ground-floor Deluxe Room, thoughtfully equipped with features to provide greater comfort and accessibility during your stay. The en-suite bathroom includes grab rails and a level-access wet room with a fold-down shower seat.
