Description

Step aboard Tubbs, a 66ft traditional stern narrowboat built in 2005, with the hull by Jonathan Wilson and fitted out by Fernwood Craft Ltd. Designed for comfortable living and extended cruising, Tubbs offers a practical and spacious interior layout running from stern to bow: lounge, dinette, galley kitchen, bathroom, master bedroom, and a forward office space with WC.

Moving inside from the stern, you enter the lounge area, a cosy and inviting space featuring two captain’s chairs, a diesel bubble stove providing warmth on cooler days, a TV, and a display storage cupboard. This comfortable living space flows naturally into the dinette, perfect for dining or additional seating.

The galley kitchen is well equipped for day-to-day living, offering a cooker with four-burner hob, grill and oven, a traditional Belfast sink, under-counter fridge, and a washing machine. There is also ample cupboard and storage space, making it practical for longer stays aboard.

Continuing forward, the bathroom provides essential facilities before leading into the master bedroom. Here you will find a generous 6’2” x 5’ cross bed with hydraulic extension, allowing the bed to extend comfortably at night while maximising cabin space during the day. The bedroom also benefits from a large wardrobe, shelving, and storage under the bed.

At the bow is a versatile office space, ideal for working from the water or as a hobby area. This area includes a desk with cupboards and shelving, a safe, freezer, and additional storage under the step. It also incorporates a WC and sink, providing extra convenience on board.

With its thoughtful layout, plentiful storage, and homely features throughout, Tubbs is well suited as a comfortable liveaboard or a capable narrowboat for extended cruising
