Montrose is a 47ft cruiser stern narrowboat offering a comfortable four-berth layout. Built by Heresford Marine in 1984, she has been meticulously maintained. Her recent upgrades include new batteries, a 5kW diesel air heater, and a freshly serviced BMC 1500 diesel engine, making her ready for new adventures on the water.

Montrose features a spacious cruiser stern, perfect for enjoying the open air while cruising or socialising when moored. The stern area is covered with a tonneau for protection and houses the access hatch to the engine bay, where you’ll find the recently serviced BMC 1500 diesel engine with just 10 hours since its last service in April 2025. The setup also includes new anti-vibration mounts, a new shaft coupling, vibration dampener, and a three-blade propeller for smooth operation.

Stepping down from the stern, you enter a well-appointed shower room. It features a full-height quadrant shower enclosure, a vanity unit with an inset wash basin, and a mirrored storage cabinet. Additional storage is provided by two wardrobes, and the space is well-lit with 12V lighting. Double doors open out onto the bow seating area, offering lovely views and fresh air.
