Saffron is a beautifully presented 57ft traditional stern narrowboat built in October 2009, featuring a highly regarded Tim Tyler hull with a quality fit-out by Dream Boats. Known for producing boats that handle exceptionally well and offer a smooth, confident ride, the Tim Tyler pedigree is evident in the way Saffron swims and performs on the water. Measuring 57ft, she is an ideal length for both full-time living and relaxed leisure cruising, offering generous internal space while remaining straightforward to handle.

She has benefitted from ongoing investment throughout 2024, ensuring she is well equipped and ready for her next owner. Recent upgrades include a new Webasto diesel boiler and a Victron 3kW MultiPlus inverter/charger, significantly improving onboard comfort and off-grid capability. Having just been professionally blacked with multiple coats of Jotun two-pack epoxy and fitted with twelve new anodes, Saffron is fully prepared for many more years of cruising. The internal layout flows exceptionally well from stern to bow, beginning with a useful utility area that provides a practical transition from the traditional stern into the accommodation. The bedroom offers a comfortable and restful space, featuring a full-size double bed, two wardrobes or cupboards, and additional overhead storage, with steps leading back up to the utility room and stern access. Moving forward, the bathroom is well proportioned and thoughtfully designed, fitted with a wash basin and vanity unit, a pump-out ceramic toilet, and a full-size glazed shower enclosure, complemented by ample shelving and storage.

The galley is well suited to liveaboard use and longer stays aboard, offering a white ceramic sink and drainer with mixer tap, a 70/30 fridge freezer, microwave, full-size washer dryer, and a full-size four-burner gas cooker with separate grill and oven. Good worktop space is matched by an excellent range of cupboards and drawers, providing plenty of storage for day-to-day living. Adjacent to the galley is a raised Pullman dinette, fully upholstered and easily converting into an additional double berth when required, making the boat ideal for guests or family cruising.

At the bow, the saloon is a warm and inviting living space, centred around a Morso Squirrel solid fuel stove that adds both character and efficient heating. A comfortable two-seater sofa provides a relaxing spot to unwind, while ample cupboards and shelving offer practical storage solutions. Twin glazed doors lead out onto a good-sized, cratch-covered well deck, creating a lovely indoor-outdoor connection and an ideal space for enjoying the canal surroundings.

Saffron offers four berths in total and is supported by generous tank capacities, including approximately 200 litres of fresh water, 150 litres of waste capacity, and 180 litres of fuel.
